NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Investigation (CBI) detained seven suspects in a case involving suspected irregularities in the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2021 (JEE Main 2021) session 4 on September 2, increasing uncertainty over the JEE Main result 2021.
According to media sources, the CBI raided 20 sites in Delhi, NCR, Pune, Indore, and Jamshedpur and filed a FIR against Affinity Education Pvt Ltd and its directors, Siddharth Krishna, Vishambhar Mani Tripathi, and Govind Varshney, on accusations of rigging the JEE Main 2021 exam. According to past sessions’ patterns, the NTA would announce the JEE Main 2021 result within 10 to 15 days of the exam’s completion. The first session of JEE Main 2021 was held from February 23 to February 26, and the results were announced on March 8. Similarly, the results for the remaining two sessions of JEE Main 2021 were announced within 10 to 15 days.
