The CBSE has issued a circular clarifying that question papers for Classes 9 and 11 will not be sent to schools. Exams for Classes 10 and 12 are conducted by the CBSE.
NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has clarified that rumours that the board is sending Class 9 and 11 question papers to schools are false.
“It is clarified that it is false news, and no such plan is on the CBSE’s agenda,” the board stated in a circular issued on Thursday. The CBSE, which is overseen by the Ministry of Education, has already held board exams for Class 10 and 12 students in CBSE-affiliated schools across the country.
Students should not “believe any such information” that is circulating on social media but not available on the board website, according to the circular. “All information is first published on the Board’s website. As a result, only information available on the board’s website is [true] “Sanyam Bhardwaj, the CBSE’s controller of examinations, signed the circular.
The CBSE released the Class 12 results in July, but they were based on a different assessment scheme. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the exams were cancelled. On August 3, the CBSE Class 10 results were released. The CSBE has decided to divide the academic year into two parts in order to conduct the board exams for 2021-22.
