Narayan said the NEP aims to empower students by grooming them to become internationally competitive. He was speaking at a conference on the NEP co-hosted by Maharani Women’s Science College (autonomous), Maharani Arts College, and Maharani Women’s Commerce and Management College.

“The Union government has set a 15-year timeframe for implementing the NEP. The state administration, on the other hand, has chosen to expedite its implementation. In the next 20 months, the government will make every effort to guarantee that everyone is covered “According to the minister.

“To begin with, this may be done within the available disciplines in colleges and might explore adding other subjects in the coming years,” Narayan said, adding that the onus of implementing the student-centric NEP falls on universities and institution administration.

Later, in an interview with reporters, Narayan rejected the charges levelled by opposition party leaders against NEP, claiming that it will help government students to the greatest extent possible. “NEP has been warmly received by universities, colleges, private institutions, and professors, who are anxious to put it into practise. The opposition leaders, on the other hand, are having a hard time digesting the good reception to the proposal. They don’t want anything positive to happen to kids or to the country “Narayan retaliated.
