NEET and JEE Mains will not be cancelled, exam schedule will be released by next week

According to sources related to the Union Ministry of Education and NTA, the green signal has also been received from the PMO regarding NEET and JEE Mains. In such a situation, the preparation for these exams has been intensified.

After the cancellation of the 12th CBSE board exam, the government is now under increasing pressure to cancel competitive exams like NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) and JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) Mains.

However, despite all this, the Union Education Ministry has clearly indicated that the examinations of NEET and JEE Mains will not be cancelled.

These will be done immediately after the situation of corona infection improves further.

Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has also indicated to release the schedule of examinations related to NEET and JEE Mains by next week.

According to sources associated with the Ministry of Education and NTA, the green signal has also been received from the PMO regarding NEET and JEE Mains.

In such a situation, the preparation for these exams has been intensified. The ministry believes that board examinations have not been held in most of the states of the country.

Marks are being awarded to the students on the basis of internal assessment.

In such a situation, the selection of students in these prestigious competitive examinations without entrance examination will not be proper.

This will also give rise to many new questions.

Anyway, the ministry is excited about the rapid improvement in the transition situation of all the states of the country including Delhi and the lockdown is being removed.

Proposed Joint Entrance Examination for admission in Central Universities intensified

According to sources related to the ministry, preparations are being made to conduct the proposed joint entrance examination for admission in central universities from this year itself.

It was recommended in the National Education Policy. After this, the ministry also announced to implement this recommendation from the new academic session.

Although its preparations have been affected after the arrival of the new wave of Corona, but now they are being finalised.

If sources are to be believed, this seems to serve two purposes.

First, the goal of implementing a major recommendation of the National Education Policy will be fulfilled in a timely manner, secondly, meritorious students will also get complete justice in admission.

Along with this, the distraction regarding admission will also end.
