Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated a two-day workshop on the implementation of the New Education Policy-2020 on Teachers’ Day.

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a famous educationist and former president, the Lt Governor reflected on his thoughts on the significance of education. Radhakrishnan firmly felt that the goal of any good education system should be the balanced development of every individual and the kindling of the flame of knowledge and wisdom in them, according to Sinha.
With the commencement of the workshop on the implementation of the New Education Policy-2020, the Lt Governor stated, an online procedure for recommendations and comments from the public has begun, which will serve as the foundation for important choices in this area in the coming days.
